Work

I currently work with Canopy Collective and Green Hub as the Nature Education Coordinator, based in Tezpur, Assam. Since July 2023, on being awarded the Inlaks Foundation's Ravi Sankaran Small Grant for Conservation, I have been leading a nature education program in Changlangshu village in eastern Nagaland, which in collaboration with the local Biodiversity Management Committee aims to foster feelings of connection and ownership among the youth to long-term eco-restoration efforts in the village. I have also been supporting the Green School initiative in Gobuk, Arunachal Pradesh, led by Green Hub alumni, with program building and resource creation. My role also involves organising workshops and providing accessible opportunities to nature educators in Northeast India to develop and enhance their work and programs.
